Kathleen Wood

Kathleen provides administrative support to the Faculty Affairs area, including support for Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development Jennie Knight; Director of the Dual Career Program Tracy Burpee; and Director of UVA Acts Karen Dabney. In this capacity, she assists with specific initiatives and events that further faculty development at the University, including New Faculty Orientation. Kathleen received a B.A. in Political Science from Christopher Newport University. Prior to joining the Provost's Office in 2024, she worked for the Virginia Law Foundation, a legal nonprofit organization in Charlottesville, for over 12 years.
